Affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain through the East Anglian Federation

The East Ipswich Camera Club meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday evenings of most months at Tower Hall, Rushmere St Andrew on the eastern side of Ipswich.

We are a friendly club with a range of photographic experience.

Our programme leans heavily towards competitions both within the club and against other clubs in the area. We make no apologies for this because we feel that many photographers invest a lot of money in equipment and should be encouraged to put this to good use.  Competitions provide this encouragement, although you do not need to have an amazing camera to be able to produce good images.  During the year we also have lectures and discussion evenings to learn how to achieve better pictures and some social events most of which combine picture taking at a specific location with a meal together afterwards.
Membership of East Ipswich Camera Club is normally open to anyone aged 18 and over, however, we are now at our membership limit.

You are welcome to visit as a guest and the guest fee is normally £3.00 per evening.  On evenings with a speaker there may be a higher guest fee.
